Connecting you with Australian culture online

Where can I get money to develop my website or create interactive digital media?

This is our most frequently asked question - and as always with questions of money there are no easy answers.

The internet is an important marketing, promotional and sales tool and it's in your interest and in the interest of your organisation to consider budgeting for the development and ongoing maintenance of your cultural website.

Websites - funding and advice

Check the services available from our Website development page in the Resources menu.

Consider collaborating with other local organisations to establish a joint web presence, or consider collaborating with similar organisations elsewhere in Australia. It doesn't matter where you are physically - significant cost savings can be made if you plan your website development with others.

Interactive Digital Media - funding and advice

Read Interactive Digital Media: Where to Get Money, Information, Advice from the Australian Film Commission. This document provides funding information compiled from:

  • State governments
  • Australian Government
  • Industry networks
  • Directories, services and publications
